SUNNYVALE , Calif. – Feb. 25, 2019 – RiskSense®, Inc., pioneering risk-based vulnerability prioritization and management, today announced Christopher Smith, vice president of global security services at CenturyLink, has joined its Board of Directors.

“We are pleased to welcome Chris to the RiskSense Board,” said Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala, co-founder and CEO at RiskSense. “His deep experience in the service provider arena will play an important role in expanding RiskSense’s managed security services capabilities and our collaboration with CenturyLink for delivering security risk management as a service to enterprise and government customers.”

Smith is responsible for product development across CenturyLink’s global security solutions portfolio. Previously, he was vice president of voice, UCC and contact center product management at Level 3 Communications, a multi-national network services provider that was acquired by CenturyLink in November 2017.

“Digital transformation is changing the way IT networks are built and managed. In the face of this evolution, and as the pool of qualified security experts remains highly competitive, organizations are struggling to identify threats and mitigate security risks,” said Smith. “RiskSense provides a unique combination of artificial intelligence and threat research to automate risk-based vulnerability management and prioritization, saving significant time and resources. I look forward to working with the Board to help RiskSense continue to address the security needs of businesses now and in the future.”
