SUNNYVALE, Calif. and ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – October 26, 2017 – RiskSense®, Inc., the pioneer and market leader in cyber risk management, today announced the appointment of security industry veteran Jill Kyte as Vice President of Marketing. With extensive marketing and executive management experience, Jill will lead go-to-market strategy, broaden brand recognition and support strategic growth.
“Jill Kyte is a proven technology marketing executive with several high-profile exits to her credit,” said Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala, co-founder and CEO of RiskSense. “She has the management skills and marketing expertise needed to help RiskSense achieve our strategic and corporate development goals, and transition to a high growth business.”
Jill has successfully built brand and market share for several successful security startups. She served as SVP Marketing and Sales for BrightPoint Security, a security threat intelligence platform, acquired by ServiceNow in 2016. As VP Marketing and Business Development for IT change control technology vendor Solidcore Systems, she repositioned the company, developed go-to-market strategies to enter new vertical markets and helped drive growth that led to its acquisition by McAfee in 2009. She also served as VP Corporate and Field Marketing for ArcSight, a leading provider of SIEM technology, which executed a successful IPO in 2008 and was acquired by HP in 2010 for $1.5B.
“RiskSense has innovated a new approach to cyber security risk management that automates much of the manual work required to achieve visibility into threats and their criticality, in order to focus on those that reduce IT infrastructure risk,” said Jill Kyte. “The company has built a solid base of customers in key verticals including government, healthcare, financial services and energy. I look forward to accelerating marketing, refining our go-to-market models and powering sales enablement initiatives to help the company exceed its revenue and corporate goals.”
